Some of our favorite zinesters are spreading the Zine Fest energy with a week-long, six-city reading tour of the greater Bay Area. "Our Other Weapon is a Zine" features contribution from terrific creators such as Tomas Moniz (Rad Dad), Dani Burlison & Leilani Clark (Petals & BonesAndria Alefhi(We’ll Never Have Paris), with special local guests and more. The whole tour wraps up with a big homecoming to San Francisco's Needles and Pens the night before the Fest!
King-Cat/Blammo Reading

The folks over at the venerable Comic Relief in Berkeley are hosting a crackerjack comics reading to launch the Zine Fest weekend early: John Porcellino (King-Cat Comics) and Noah van Sciver (Blammo) will be reading from their work tonight as part of their cross-country tour! Both of these gentlemen are nominees for Ignatz awards this year, it's sure to be awesome! The reading will be followed by an audience Q+A and book signing.

But wait, there's more! Once you are nice and relaxed from chatting with your pals at the SFZF Afterparty, then it's high time for the SFZF After-Afterparty! Our pals at 90s music club Debaser will be hosting the SFZF faithful finto the wee hours. DJs Jamie Jams and Emdee play classic indie, underground and riot grrrl jams to get you in the mood to read zines & comix (or even to crowd surf and mosh!). Consistently one of the best music nights in the city!
